The members and experts of DUCoR (Asociación para el Desarrollo Urbano y Comunicación Responsables) possess diverse experience and network in the fields of urban development, communication and international cooperations. DUCoR was established with the aim of uniting these experiences and supporting the improvement of the life quality in Alicante, the Region of Valencia and Spain with value-added projects.
Our members and experts have gained considerable experience in fields of transnational projects implemented in frames of different Interreg, Erasmus+ and URBACT partnerships (representing other institutions). As a consequence, all our colleagues have project management perspective, widespread thematic knowledge covering mainly urban and regional development topics, and high level of communication skills. These experiences can be applied while efficiently representing the Region of Valencia and Spain in the available Interreg Euro-MED Transnational Programme, Interreg Europe Interregional Programme and cross-border cooperations.
Several members of our association have experience in the academic sector, conducting research, writing papers/articles, demonstrating results at conferences, and providing knowledge for international consortia. We have been involved in numerous project activities regarding the conduction of surveys, creating good practice collections, development of guides of different kind, and preparing policy-proposals. Building on the experience of our members, we are qualified for promoting transnational exchange and learning, designing and facilitating workshops and trainings, using participative methods and promoting local adaption of learnings.
Transparent and valuable communication is a key principle for our members, thus, we are constantly improving ourselves to be high qualified in using traditional and innovative communication methods and tools. We are experienced in writing press releases, scientific and non-scientific articles, blogs, giving interviews, organizing press conferences, managing social media platforms, generating digital and printed contents (e.g. infographics, newsletters, leaflets), creating animations and videos. All this will be essential to inform the citizens of the Valencian Region and Spain about the project results on an effective way, using the appropriate channels and visually pleasing contents.
Last but not least, a highlighted – CityWak – project of two DUCoR experts has received a REGIOSTARS award in the public category. RegioStars are Europe's awards for the most innovative regional projects. Two of our experts were idea owners, developers and implementers of the CityWalk project. Therefore, we have experience in high-quality EU projects. We intend to rely on this experience and expertise in order to implement as successful projects as CityWalk was with the participation of DUCoR.
